Welcome to La Gigude, in the heart of the Cathare country, in the Corbières, found between the Château de Peyrepertuse and Gorges de Galamus, acces by route D14 between Soulatgé and Rouffiac.

The accomodation at La Gigude is simple but comfortable, comprising of a large living room on the ground floor with  open fireplace  and fully equipped American style kitchen.
There is a bathroom and three bedrooms on the  first floor to sleep 9 people – two rooms with a double and single bed, and one room with three single beds.
We also have two extra bedrooms and an extra bathroom in the appartment on the third floor to sleep 5 people.

The house is available to rent by the week on a (gite) or on a B & B nightly basis.
We also offer the house to alternative activity holiday organisers, eg. music groups, yoga groups, meditation, botanical groups (we boast a selection of wild orchids and other plants growing naturally in the surrounding hills around the farm), VTT and horse riding groups. La Gigude is a working farm with 30 goats and 60 sheep. The milk is then made into cheese which is sold at local markets, restaurants and shops.
You are welcome to visit the farm to taste or purchase our cheese.

La Gigude is situated close to the crossroads of the two main walking routes through the Hautes Corbieres, the GR36 and the sentier Cathare.
With its exceptional geographic situation, surrounded by beautiful countryside and magnificent views, you can be assured a peaceful and memorable holiday.
